Terms of Service
Interim beta terms: what the service is, how the license works, and that your data is yours.
Beta draft. The following are interim terms for the design-partner beta. Legal entity, jurisdiction, and final commercial terms will be confirmed by counsel; a separately signed agreement governs before onboarding. Last updated: 2026-07-21.
1. Nature of the service (Beta)
Corsoul is in a design-partner beta. Features, quotas, pricing, and APIs may change; no formal service-level commitment (SLA) is offered during beta. We will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice of material changes.
2. License
- The free tier is provided under its open-source / free license terms; it can be self-hosted and run locally.
- The paid tier grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the service, scoped to your license tier and bound scopes. Licenses may not be resold or shared across accounts.
3. Your data is yours
You retain all rights to your own memory data. We claim no ownership of your memory content, do not sell it, and do not train our models on it. See Privacy and Data deletion & retention.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe others' rights, to circumvent tenant isolation or quotas, or to attempt access to scopes your license does not govern. For security research, follow the disclosure process on the Security page.
5. Self-hosting
You may deploy the engine on your own infrastructure; when self-hosting, quota and tenant-settlement semantics follow your configuration, and the cloud-service clauses of these terms do not apply.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. (Template clause; final wording to be set by counsel.)
7. Termination
You may stop using the service at any time and remove data per Data deletion & retention. We may suspend the service on a material breach; ordinarily we will provide a reasonable cure period.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected in this page's updated date and, where reasonable, separately notified.
